Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Events Coordinator to serve as the operational engine behind site-wide events and engagement initiatives. This role plays a key part in supporting engineering and research teams while enhancing employee experience, community engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Reporting to the Site Engineering Lead
, the Events Coordinator will partner closely with Engineering, Human Resources, Recruiting, Finance, Communications, and other internal teams to deliver impactful programs that foster an inclusive, connected, and high-energy workplace.

Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute onsite and offsite events, meetings, and programs
- Manage monthly site events and community engagement initiatives
- Partner with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support activities and programming
- Collaborate on newsletters, internal communications, and event promotions
- Manage event budgets, vendor contracts, expense tracking, and financial reconciliation
- Support site leadership with operational planning and execution of business priorities
- Partner with communications teams on internal and external messaging
- Build strong relationships with local nonprofits, universities, and community partners
- Track program success metrics and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and operational excellence
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment while working across all levels of the organization
- Meeting with cross-functional teams and ERG leaders
- Managing budgets and vendor communications
- Promoting events through internal platforms
- Supporting a positive, inclusive, and engaging site culture
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree, or equivalent practical experience
- 5–7 years of experience in event management, operations, or program coordination
- Strong budgeting and financial management experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
