ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Strategy & Analytics Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business strategy, project management, client data analysis, and financial modeling. You'll contribute to the operational efficiency and innovation within our brokerage services entity and help us exceed company goals while delivering exceptional results to our clients.

To be considered, you must be able to commit to a 10-week hybrid internship and work 40 hours per week during our summer program.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct competitive landscape research on outsourced broker-dealers, RIAs, full-service introducing broker-dealers, and BPO providers.

* Map competitor technology, service models, and product offerings.

* Analyze key workflows (e.g., B2B2C account opening) to surface friction points, differentiators, and opportunities.

* Build a structured gap-analysis matrix and deliver a concise findings report with actionable recommendations.

* Create process maps and visuals in Visio; track scope, tasks, assumptions, and progress in JIRA.

* Develop a planner framework and technical plan to embed affiliates within products and customer flows.

* Define and prioritize hypotheses for additional revenue streams (e.g., paid affiliate leads).

* Model costs, revenue, unit economics, and scenarios; evaluate risks, benefits, and compliance considerations.

* Document integration requirements, architecture touchpoints, and an implementation roadmap with milestones.

* Prepare presentations and readouts to communicate recommendations, pilot design, success criteria, and go/no-go inputs to stakeholders.

Requirements & Nice to Haves:

* Experience with Microsoft suite - Excel, PowerPoint, etc

* Program Management Experience

* Data Manipulation Experience in Excel or SQL

* Exposure to JIRA and/or Visio (Nice to Have)

* Power BI (Nice to Have)

* Consulting Club or Experience (Strong Plus)

* Market Research Experience (Nice to Have)

* Industry Knowledge - Brokerage & Investing (Nice to Have)

Education and Experience:

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Marketing, Analytics, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field.

* Rising Senior standing, Aug 2026 - Jun 2027 graduate

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* General interest in Fintech.

Work Environment:

* This internship operates on a hybrid schedule in Austin.

* This internship operates in a 4 day a week in office environment.

Salary:

* $25 per hour.
