All-Tex Pipe & Supply is a trade name within Hajoca and is looking for a Sales & Leadership Trainee at their Austin, TX location.

About the Program:

The Sales & Leadership Development program is a multi-year rotational program investing in trainees by providing exposure to all aspects of the business. It is structured to develop an aligned understanding of skills and long-term career goals.

Responsibilities and program structure

Phase overview

Phase 1:
Learn operations such as receiving/shipping, processing returns, deliveries, and truck maintenance; participate in vendor product knowledge sessions; complete related online courses.

Phase 2:
Gain experience in counter sales, assist customers and teammates, process sales orders, provide product information, maintain displays; participate in vendor knowledge sessions; interact with residential, commercial, and contractor customers.

Phase 3:
Learn sales tasks including pricing and margin management, bids, quotes, procurement, and job scheduling; develop vendor relationships; participate in joint sales calls with outside salespersons.

Phase 4:
Career discussion with Profit Center Manager to determine future focus within the business.

About You / Qualifications

Required/Additionally strong qualifications:

College degree or equivalent experience; experience in customer service, sales, management, or leadership roles. Able to drive for company business; at least 18 years old; valid driver’s license; driving record meeting company policy criteria.

  • Ability to learn how to safely operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English; basic math with whole numbers, fractions, decimals; quick product knowledge learning.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) for communication, planning, reporting, and data analysis.
