Learning & Development Specialist II (Hybrid)You will be trusted to:
- Work closely with department managers to understand unique business performance gaps and learning needs. Lead collaborative efforts to develop ad hoc training solutions.
- Ensure learning and development programs are engaging and relevant to employees in various work environments.
- Manage a wide variety of day-to-day learning and development activities.
- Utilize learning management systems to administer training.
- Monitor and evaluate training programs to ensure maximum effectiveness.
You qualify with:
- Six or more years of experience in company wide and/or operational training and development programs or other relevant experience. A degree(s) in human resource management, business administration, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver’s license.
You are a great fit with:
- Previous experience working in a technical industry and/or developing technical training.
- Experience in designing, developing, and delivering learning and development programs.
- Skill in establishing credibility, trust, and partnership at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced skill in effectively partnering with leaders to design ad hoc/custom learning and development solutions.
- Advanced communication skills, including verbal and written to all levels of an organization.
- Skill in using learning management systems.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Articulate 360 and Camtasia.
