We seek a strategic, experienced and analytical individual to act as both individual contributor and dotted-line manager across a portfolio of brand and agency clients. As an Account Director, you’ll manage key strategic client relationships, act as a strategic layer on accounts junior team members own, and be laser-focused on growing existing account relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior leader across a portfolio of agency and brand clients. Act as both an individual contributor and strategic partner, with a focus on retaining and expanding key strategic accounts.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members, guiding them on industry trends, programmatic strategies, and Keynes-specific best practices. For accounts under your mentorship, function as a strategic advisor to both the internal account manager and the client.
- Establish yourself as a trusted consultant to primary client contacts and cross-functional teams. Help accelerate clients’ business goals through strategic road mapping, data-centric approaches, and tailored guidance.
- Partner with the VP of Client Services to lead internal team training. Ensure the team remains current on DSP advancements, industry trends, platform updates, and relevant points of view.
- Behave as escalation point for junior team members, providing direct and decisive direction or in specific situations, promptly escalating to VP of Client Services to ensure internal and external deadlines & expectations are met
- Establish themselves as positive and encouraging team member, ensuring the different teams work collaboratively together and with an action-focused approach
- Spearhead client onsite meetings from goal setting, logistic planning with sales team, creation of presented materials/content with the account management/performance teams and running lead on follow-up items

- Growth in retention rate and revenue
- Ability to lead with data
- Renewal of new clients and budget increases within the first 3 months of partnership
- Performance of junior team members
- Sales and performance team feedback
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of experience working with either a digital media publisher, technology company, or agency
- Minimum 7 years in a client-facing role handling a portfolio of accounts
- Minimum 5 years in Connected TV, whether in a sales or client services role
- Clear and deliberate internal communicator, able to manage expectations across multiple internal stakeholders
- Confident and strategic communicator with clients, with the ability to level set expectations and pivot between discussion points with ease and finesse.
- An expert-level understanding of Excel is required
- Experience with The Trade Desk or Amazon DSP is required
