About The Team
The Dasher & Logistics team is responsible for ensuring every delivery is completed with speed, accuracy and a positive experience for Consumers, Merchants, and Dashers. The team focuses on all parts of the Dasher life cycle, from supply and demand to cost and quality, Dasher pay, retention, and order batching.
AboutThe Role
You will play an integral role in building our business strategy on the Live Operations team within the Dasher & Logistics pillar. Your primary goal will be to improve Dasher supply and hours by diving deep into ground realities, testing hypotheses, developing strategies, and scaling impact with cross‑functional teams such as Product, Engineering, and Analytics. You will report directly into a Manager or Senior Manager on the Dasher & Logistics team.
Key Responsibilities- Build analysis to create data‑driven decisions that improve user experience.
- Operate at the lowest level of detail to become an expert of this problem space.
- Develop strategies and act on them, driving impact for Door Dash.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive operational outcomes.
- 3‑5 years of experience in consulting, strategy, financial services, operations, technology, startups, or related fields.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize data, make informed decisions, and balance quantitative measurement with empathy.
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data crunching.
- First‑principles thinking and willingness to take action and experiment.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail‑oriented mindset, comfortable with ambiguity, and willing to work weekends/holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Base salary in the range $87,000—$128,000 USD, localized to the work location.
