Kelly, in partnership with a rapidly growing manufacturer, is looking for several Buyers in Austin, TX! (78724) You owe it to yourself to consider this great new opportunity.

• Pay Range: $25–$35 per hour (depending upon experience)
• Shift: Mon–Fri 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
• Long term contract role: 12 – 18 months, with potential to be hired.

• Work with a highly respected industry leader in the manufacturing sector.
• Collaborative, team-oriented environment with opportunities to lead small projects.
• Exposure to advanced procurement technologies and best industry practices.

• Negotiating pricing and terms of purchase to secure the best value.
• Managing suppliers and quoting, procuring materials, components, equipment, and services.
• Expediting orders to ensure timely receipt of materials and maintaining inventory at planned levels.
• Issuing RFQs, analyzing proposals, negotiating prices and delivery, and adjusting purchase orders as needed.
• Collaborating with engineering and supply chain management to recommend new suppliers.
• Following purchasing business processes and maintaining accurate records.
• Leading problem resolution for material-related accounting and receiving issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, procurement, or a related field (required).
• Bring significant experience in purchasing or procurement in a manufacturing environment.
• Possess proficiency with procurement software and strong data analysis skills.
• Demonstrate understanding of supply chain processes, inventory management, and contract/vendor relations.
• Exhibit strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Are able to solve complex problems, work well under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excel at collaborating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
