Position: Land Analyst – assists the land staff in administration and documentation related to lease or purchase of property for renewable energy facilities supporting wind, solar and battery storage businesses.
Creates procedures or uses internal tracking software to track all real estate deliverables and keeps trackers for each project for easy access by the real estate team.
Role Responsibilities- Organize meetings, appointments, trainings and events.
- Attend meetings, capture action items and track progress.
- Create reports, Power Points and presentations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date land records and help maintain and standardize file systems.
- Create SOPs to support best practices for land and development.
- Learn and use multiple software packages such as Altamps, SAP, Salesforce, Sharepoint, Arc GIS, Power BI.
- Support the land acquisition team in acquiring leases, ROWs, and other land-related documents.
- Support onboarding of 1099 positions and field agents.
- Establish SOPs and best practices.
- Create and track OKRs to analyze land data, identify trends, issues and aid decision making.
- Track POs from vendors for payment upon approval of land managers.
- Monitor remaining budget on each contractor’s PO and notify land managers when change orders are needed.
- Collaborate with senior land managers and land managers to achieve team and company goals.
- BS degree from an accredited college.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an administrative role.
- Knowledge of land ownership, real estate, or contracts is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage customer relationships.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams.
- Motivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilities.
