Client Services Proj Manager

We are looking for a Project Manager with at least two years of experience to join our project management team. As a team member, our packaging project managers are the hub across all packaging development from kick-off through final artwork development. This person would work directly with the client to help plan, prepare for project kickoffs, and successfully manage individual Client relationships and projects on behalf of the Client and Quad.

Our Project Managers are creative problem solvers who can anticipate project needs, think on their toes and build upon strong client relationships. You will need to be able to deliver a wide variety of projects on time and on budget, even when changes are being made faster than you can hit 'save' on your computer. The Project Manager will be in continual communication with internal and client team members through email, phone, video, and in-person conversations to understand all details of their projects.

Responsibilities:

* Work on site, in the office directly with the client as an extension of their team.

* Prepare project documentation in preparation for kickoff meetings by pulling product information and communicating across team members.

* Prepare creative design decks under direction from the client.

* Act as the coordinator and a communication hub on a multitude of fast-paced projects ranging from packaging design, photography, and production acting as the liaison between the clients and our internal teams.

* Develop and/or assist team members on project timelines and task lists.

* Collect proper and complete input documentation inclusive of current art, client direction, die lines, printer specs, pack-related, and pre-production content from suppliers and internal tools.

* Schedule and attend all internal meetings: kick-off, present maintained status, internal creative reviews, pre-production, take clear and accurate notes and provide as follow up materials to all stakeholders.

* Ability to understand and identify opportunities for continued growth.

* Understand and manage the execution of tasks to achieve Client's marketing goals..

* Work effectively to manage work across internal business units.

* Build and maintain client relationships with low-and-mid level management.

* Possess in-depth understanding of Client's business objectives.

* Suggest opportunities to the Account Manager/Leader to educate the client on Quad's services - directly or through the Client Services team.

* Keep management informed regularly of events/issues that could impact client relationship.

* Act as a true partner to our internal teams to ensure they're on task and informed, and that all resources are in alignment.

* Communicate with vendors, client, and internal stakeholders on applicable concerns, inquiries, and required updates in a positive and productive manner.

* Be a self-motivated, problem solver. Research first, provide details discovered to date, and then ask for direction to complete from internal leadership to solve.

Qualifications:

* Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on an equivalent basis.

* Bachelor's degree in advertising, communication, marketing or related field required.

* You have been working in a professional capacity for four to seven years.

* Packaging experience a plus.
