Here’s The Role
Are you ready to lead the Business Continuity Team on a day-to‑day level? This role is responsible for coordinating, developing, facilitating, and cataloging business area discussions and efforts to build and maintain business continuity‑related plans for essential functions. This opportunity also involves staff training, system testing, and planned exercises across the enterprise. Attention to detail in after‑action reviews, testing, training, exercising, and mitigation action plans is essential.

- Drive and deliver business continuity commitment, support, ownership, accountability, and results.
- Design, build, and implement risk assessments, business impact analysis, business process assessments, mitigation plans, and other business continuity tools and capabilities.
- Develop and implement business continuity strategies to restore the company's essential functions.
- Function as the lead resource for disaster recovery plans, helping technology leaders and operational experts ensure critical system applications and operational assets are covered by effective plans.
- Ensure alignment of framework data with the enterprise risk register and the efforts of other assessment teams throughout the enterprise.
- Maintain the central repository for listing and accessing all plans.
- Twelve or more years of experience in risk management, business continuity, risk analyses and modeling or relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in business, finance, accounting or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in risk, business, and/or finance.
- CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) Certification.
- Experience in handling business continuity programs and frameworks.
- Experience developing ongoing business continuity plans cross‑departmentally.
