Role DescriptionThis is a full‑time role based in the Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area with a hybrid work model, combining on‑site collaboration with flexible work‑from‑home days. The role involves building and maintaining financial models to evaluate growth initiatives, investments, partnerships, and new business opportunities across the life sciences and AI consulting space.
The person in this role will analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and client economics to support strategic decisions on pricing, go‑to‑market, and portfolio optimization. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include preparing investment cases, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses; developing dashboards and reports for leadership; and supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking. The role will also contribute to strategic presentations, business reviews, and cross‑functional projects with consulting, data, and commercial teams to prioritize high‑impact growth opportunities.
Qualifications- Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, including forecasting, valuation, scenario planning, and ROI analysis for growth and investment decisions.
- Experience in corporate finance, investment analysis, management consulting, or strategy roles, preferably in technology, AI, or life sciences.
- Comfort working with data tools and spreadsheets (e.g., advanced Excel/Sheets, basic analytics or BI tools) to translate data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Ability to synthesize complex financial and market information into concise presentations, memos, and dashboards for senior stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of growth strategy concepts such as market sizing, unit economics, pricing, and portfolio prioritization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across finance, strategy, commercial, and delivery teams.
- Proven ability to work independently in a hybrid environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
- Familiarity or interest in life sciences, pharma, or biopharma markets and AI‑driven business models is strongly preferred.
