Our team is seeking a highly experienced Systems Engineer V to support enterprise workforce management initiatives within a large-scale retail environment. This individual will play a critical role in supporting the migration from Kronos Workforce Central to UKG Pro while ensuring accurate timekeeping, payroll integration, and compliance with jurisdiction-specific workforce policies.

This role is ideal for a senior-level workforce management systems professional who thrives in complex enterprise environments, has hands‑on implementation experience, and can operate independently in a fast‑paced, high‑visibility support environment.

The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in UKG Pro configuration and workforce management systems, strong analytical and stakeholder management capabilities, and prior experience supporting large‑scale implementations and go‑live activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and help drive the migration from Kronos Workforce Central to UKG Pro within a complex enterprise environment
  • Configure, validate, troubleshoot, and support workforce management systems and integrations
  • Partner closely with Payroll, HRIS, Operations, IT, implementation vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and operational stability
  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for escalated workforce management and timekeeping issues
  • Analyze and resolve complex timekeeping, pay policy, and workforce compliance issues across multiple jurisdictions
  • Perform data analysis, testing, validation, and quality assurance activities related to implementations, configurations, and system changes
  • Support implementation tasks, cutover activities, and post‑go‑live stabilization efforts
  • Ensure workforce management solutions align with business processes, payroll accuracy requirements, and compliance standards
  • Participate in troubleshooting integrations and workflows involving workforce management and payroll systems
  • Document configurations, support processes, testing outcomes, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally while also operating independently on assigned support and implementation activities
  • Drive ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure deadlines are met in a fast‑paced environment
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience supporting workforce management systems in enterprise environments
  • Strong hands‑on experience with: UKG Pro | Kronos Workforce Central | Workforce management implementations and migrations
  • Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise implementations and go‑live activities
  • Strong understanding of:
    Timekeeping systems | Payroll integrations | Pay policies | Workforce compliance requirements
  • Experience performing QA validation, system testing, and implementation support activities
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder and partner management experience
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills
  • Experience working within highly matrixed enterprise organizations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Boomi or similar integration platforms
  • Experience supporting workforce management systems in:
    Retail | Hospitality | Logistics | Large hourly workforce environments
  • Previous experience supporting implementations at enterprise organizations such as:
    Home Depot | Starbucks | Walmart | Similar large‑scale employers
  • Experience handling jurisdiction‑specific workforce and payroll requirements
  • Familiarity with implementation methodologies, validation frameworks, and post‑go‑live stabilization support
