- Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate supplier bids related to pricing, delivery, quality, and contractual terms
- Partner closely with the IT Vendor Management Office and internal stakeholders
- Manage open purchase orders to ensure optimal supplier performance and on-time delivery
- Assist with cost-reduction initiatives and sourcing optimization efforts
- Support the creation and ongoing maintenance of a centralized contract database capturing vendor details and agreements
- Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of directly related professional experience
- Minimum of 5 years of purchasing/procurement experience (8+ years preferred)
- Proven experience as a Commodity Buyer purchasing indirect goods and services
- Strong experience purchasing IT-related products and services (higher priority than semiconductor experience)
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
- Solid understanding of standard purchasing practices, contracts, and supplier negotiations
- Experience in electronics or manufacturing environments; semiconductor industry experience is a plus
- Familiarity with manufacturing documentation such as BOMs and technical specifications

- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
