What to Expect

The Tesla Construction Procurement & Compliance team is seeking aProcurement Compliance Manager to supportan exciting new phase of growth and investment in the construction of new or adding to existing manufacturing facilities. The Manager will focus on our North American operations, which includeour Gigafactory Texas, Supercharger network

Gulf Coast Lithium Refinery, battery manufacturing and recycling.

As a key member of the procurementteam, you will own and execute critical compliance processes for high-value construction procurements,ensuring all purchases adhere to contractual, legal, and economic development requirements. You will work closely with internal teams including Legal, Tax, Finance, and Construction, as well as external contractors and suppliers, to ensure audit readiness, risk mitigation, and program success.

This role reports to theHead of Procurement Compliance and requires a high level of independence, analytical rigor, and stakeholder collaboration.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on construction procurement compliance and state-level regulatory frameworks
• Maintain and continuously improve contract templates and procurement documentation for construction-related procurements
• Review and approve supplier onboarding inproprietary ERP systemfor construction vendors, ensuring compliance with Tesla's risk and quality standards
• Conduct rigorous reviews of Purchase Ordersto ensure policy adherence
• Perform monthly tax abatement submission audits for both Tesla direct purchases and contractor purchases
• Lead the annual Nevada residency headcount audit to ensure compliance with state incentive programs
• Own and manage the North America (NA) Construction Lien Tracker, proactively identifying, monitoring, and facilitating the closure of liens to protect project timelines and financial integrity
• Facilitate bi-annual Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) reporting for Gigafactory Texas, including data collection, validation, and submission
• Coordinate contractor outreach and compliance tracking for PWArequirementsin tax incentive eligible programs, ensuring workforce participation and documentation are complete and accurate

• Bachelor's Degree in Business,Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in construction procurement, contract administration, or supplier compliance, preferably in large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience in finance, accounting, auditing and/or consulting
• High-level understandingoftax abatement compliance, economic development incentives,HUB reporting, lien prevention,and state-specific procurement regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently on complex, multi-threaded tasks with minimal oversight
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
