Job Purpose

Sanmina is seeking a highly motivated Program Administrator to join our Program Management team and serve as the operational backbone for our precision machining and complex mechanical assembly programs. In this role, you will help aid in managing the business relationship between the customer and our manufacturing facility to ensure customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded. You will be responsible for tracking project milestones, managing documentation, coordinating between cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Production), and ensuring that high‑tolerance, highly regulated manufacturing programs run smoothly from kickoff to final shipment.

Nature of Duties / Responsibilities
  • Interacts with customers, company sales and/or service representatives and handles a variety of pre‑sales or post‑sales service functions.
  • Updates databases with status of returned materials issues and accounts for returned inventory.
  • Records and reports the status of equipment returns, repairs, replacements, sales orders and delivery schedules (RMA).
  • The Program Administrator will be processing customer RMA(s) order entry and change notices.
  • Ensures service information is accessible by sorting and filing documents/forms.
  • Maintains records of returns, schedule changes, product enhancements or changes and product pricing, and resolves return credit problems.
  • Supports the business relationship between assigned customer(s) and the manufacturing facility ensuring that customer expectations are met and/or exceeded.
  • Supports the Program Manager in commercial management of customer(s) including product margin, product pricing (price effectively, inventory re‑valuation), excess & obsolete material issues, accounts receivable issues, with the customer.
  • Understands the customer(s) contract terms and its implications on the order process.
  • Manages the customer(s) backlog/demand and works with planning to ensure proper MRP/DRP runs.
Education Qualifications
  • The Academic Path: A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • The Technical Path: 5+ years of project administration or coordination experience specifically within a manufacturing environment (precision machining, CNC, aerospace, automotive, or medical device assembly preferred).
Experience Qualifications
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills to develop and maintain proactive customer interaction. Comfortable interfacing with CNC machinists on the floor, quality inspectors and corporate leadership.
  • Must be able to work independently, multitask & quickly while under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with basic data tools (Excel / Google Sheets) and a willingness to learn Oracle.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills are required.
