Contracts Administrator / Manager - Procurement / Acquisition Defense Technology The Company

. - Avoid being pigeonholed into a narrow administrative slice; gain exposure to the entire contracting lifecycle including complex IP disputes and non-standard agreements.
- Work with cutting‑edge legal research tools and receive dedicated professional development resources.
A technical, hands‑on role where you will:
- Execute full lifecycle administration of complex federal prime contracts and subcontracts, from pre‑award through post‑award execution.
- Conduct extensive legal research regarding prime contract flowdowns, case law, and regulatory compliance.
- Draft and negotiate NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and leases directly with vendors and government entities.
- Triage and evaluate risk for all incoming company agreements, utilizing tools like Jira and Thompson Reuters CoCounsel.
- Monitor subcontractor performance against tight schedules, statements of work, and funding restrictions.
- Partner cross‑functionally with PMs, finance, and engineering leads to resolve performance issues and push back on risk when necessary.
- 5+ years of experience executing government contracts and subcontracts.
- Strict, demonstrable working knowledge of FAR and DFAR regulations.
- Proven background in handling IP‑related provisions and contractual disputes.
- Experience with OTAs, consortium agreements, or non‑grant university contracts.
- Experience performing price and cost analysis.
- U.S. Citizen, eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Ability to travel 1-2 times per year to regional HQs in KS, OK, or TX.
- Bachelor's degree or 10 total years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- CPCM or CFCM certifications (nice to have)
