PMO Analyst

Category: Project Management

Main location: United States, Texas, Austin

Position : J

Employment Type: Full Time

Position Description

Make an impact like never before.

We're growing rapidly and are looking for a PMO Analyst.

This role is located in Austin, TX.

We're a close knit team that has access to global resources. You'll have the opportunity to explore a wide range of industries, technologies, and geographies, all while enjoying the personal touch that our local operating approach offers.

Your future duties and responsibilities

The PMO Analyst supports the day to day governance and coordination of a large, complex client engagement. The role provides broad visibility into how a major project is run — tracking risk, quality, reporting, and access/administration. This is a coordination heavy, detail oriented role. The strongest candidates will be proactive communicators who are comfortable chasing others for updates/actions without needing to upgrade, and who want broad exposure to project operations as a stepping stone in their PMO/PM career.

Risk

& Issue Management

Maintain and update the RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) and track Action Items.

Conduct regular follow ups with owners to ensure items are progressed and closed on time.

Deliverable Management

Maintain the deliverable tracker.

Manage invoicing related to deliverables.

Ensure deliverable quality by confirming outputs meet agreed quality requirements before submission.

Chase client and CGI team members to close out review comments and actions in a timely manner.

Reporting

Support drafting of status reports for client and internal stakeholders.

Prepare meeting notes/minutes as requested.

Project Plan Maintenance

Make weekly updates to the project plan (broad stroke/structural changes to the plan are not expected of this role).

Access & Resource Administration

Provision access to CGI and systems for project team members.

Manage onboarding and offboarding of personnel on the project.

Audit & Records Management

Support CGI audits as required.

Ensure all documents required for record retention are stored appropriately.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable managing multiple trackers/logs simultaneously and following up proactively.

Clear written communication for status reports and meeting notes.

Confidence to follow up with, and at times politely push, both client and internal team members to meet deadlines.

Basic understanding of quality/review processes for project deliverables.

Familiarity with (or ability to quickly learn) access provisioning and onboarding/offboarding administrative processes.

Discretion when handling system access and personnel changes.

Requirements

Early to mid career professional (this role is well suited as a strong developmental opportunity).

Interest in project management / PMO career path.

Motivated by the opportunity to gain first‑hand visibility into how a large, complex project operates end to end — from risk and quality management through reporting and resourcing.

Other Information

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 – $.
