Job Summary
This job establishes a cohesive product vision and strategy across the company, leading product strategy development with cross‑functional teams. It balances innovative design with technical implementation while meeting regulatory requirements and customer needs. The focus is on enhancing customer experience, using metrics for product success, and standardizing analytics and market research for data‑driven decisions.
Job DescriptionEssential Responsibilities:
- Establish a shared vision across the company for one or more products, or a platform product enabling development & scalability, with a deliberate and cohesive strategy.
- Lead product strategy development and develop a clear, executable view of the product strategy with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Influence the architectural roadmap and balance innovative design and technical implementation, while balancing regulatory requirements, time‑to‑market, meeting customer needs and product profitability.
- Champion the customer experience and prioritize customer needs in product requirements and decision making.
- Define and use metrics that inform the success of products including usability studies, research and market analysis.
- Standardize work streams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive data‑driven decision‑making.
- Responsible for product profitability, including budgetary decisions.
- Lead operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability including Product Reviews, Operating Reviews, and Business Reviews. Interface with senior leadership as needed.
- Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the standard.
Preferred Qualifications
- Leadership & Strategy: Lead the product management team and collaborate with cross‑functional teams (engineering, design, global markets, operations) to define and execute the product strategy for the AI Assistant.
- Roadmap & Execution: Own the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, for new features and innovations. Define clear priorities, align with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, AI advancements, and competitor offerings. Use data and insights to inform decision‑making and identify opportunities.
- Cross‑Functional
Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of features, collaborating with design, data science, and other product teams to build a best‑in‑class product. - Data‑Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to drive decisions, measure success, and optimize the platform for performance, experience, and scalability.
- Bias for Action: Have a testing and validation mindset with a drive to take action and learn based off data and discovery to drive the product and better‑informed decision‑making.
- Stakeholder Management: Present product vision, strategy, and performance metrics to senior leadership and other key stakeholders. Drive alignment across teams and departments.
- 10+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of experience leading others.
- Proven track record of leading and growing high‑performing product teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies and their application to real‑world products, in particular assistants and LLMs.
- Experience in managing products and aligning product development with business objectives.
- Ability to identify product opportunities, define clear solutions, and drive execution in a fast‑paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Understanding of servicing channels, customer pain points, and customer service a plus.
- Payments, financial services, and e‑commerce experience a plus.
