Position Summary
Junior Property Compliance Analyst. Under close supervision, responsible for completing tenant file compliance reviews related to Section 42, Section 8 and specifically 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility. Works in an established procedural environment to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Portland, OR. Remote or hybrid arrangements may be available on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑occupancy tenant file compliance reviews and produce reports for designated clients following established guidelines.
- Identify and escalation of potential problem areas during engagements.
- Conduct research on federal and/or state compliance regulations and report findings under supervisory guidance.
- Work within a deadline‑driven environment, meeting productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of relevant experience in Section 42, Section 8, or other government housing programs with a focus on 24 CFR Part 5 income eligibility.
- Preference for a bachelor’s degree and relevant professional certifications such as COS or HCCP.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications within two years if not already held.
- Knowledge of tenant-file compliance rules, including the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act (HOTMA).
Desired skills include proactive problem‑solving, strong verbal and written communication, organizational aptitude, and ability to manage tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment. Competent with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and report writing tools.
Availability to work evenings and weekends as required and travel domestically (estimated 25‑35% of time).
Benefits & CompensationSalary range: $53,000 to $72,000, based on experience.
