Job Description & How to Apply Below

Director of Revenue Operations | Austin, TX (Hybrid) Build the Revenue Engine, Don't Just Report on It.

Most Revenue Operations roles focus on reporting, dashboards, and CRM administration. This isn't one of them. We're partnering with a fast-growing B2B software company looking for someone to build and lead its entire revenue operations function. You'll own the lead-to-cash engine, redesign how the go-to-market organization operates, and leverage AI and automation to eliminate manual work and create a scalable revenue machine.

This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CEO with the opportunity to shape how Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Finance work together for years to come.

The Opportunity

This company has established strong product-market fit and is entering its next stage of growth. They're investing heavily in their go-to-market organization and are looking for someone who loves solving operational problems, building systems, and leading change.

You'll have the autonomy to challenge existing processes, redesign workflows, and implement the systems, automations, and operational cadence needed to support a high-growth business.

If you enjoy building more than maintaining, you'll likely love this role.

What You'll Own
  • Design and own the entire lead-to-cash process from first touch through closed revenue.
  • Build the operating cadence for the revenue organization, including pipeline reviews, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Re-engineer end-to-end workflows to remove friction, improve efficiency, and increase revenue performance.
  • Partner across Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Finance to drive alignment and adoption.
  • Design and deploy AI agents and automations that eliminate manual work and improve productivity.
  • Own the revenue technology stack, including Salesforce architecture, data integrity, reporting, and integrations.
  • Build dashboards, forecasting, and executive reporting that leadership can trust.
  • Turn data into actionable insights that influence pricing, territories, hiring, and go-to-market strategy.
What Success Looks Like
  • The lead-to-cash process is documented, scalable, and continuously improving.
  • Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product are operating from one system and one set of metrics.
  • AI agents and automations meaningfully reduce manual work across the revenue organization.
  • Forecasting is accurate, CRM data is reliable, and leadership trusts the numbers.
  • The revenue engine continues to scale because the systems you've built continue working long after they're implemented.
  • Who We're Looking For
  • You have 7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations or Sales Operations, including experience leading teams and owning outcomes.
  • You've built a lead-to-cash process from the ground up—not simply maintained someone else's.
  • You enjoy redesigning systems, improving workflows, and driving operational change across multiple departments.
  • You've successfully led cross-functional initiatives involving Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and Customer Success.
  • You're highly fluent in Salesforce and understand how systems, data, and processes connect.
  • You've built or deployed AI workflows, automations, or agents that improve business performance.
  • You're analytical, highly organized, and able to turn messy information into clear decisions.
  • You're comfortable challenging existing processes and influencing senior leadership when change is needed.
  • Preferred Experience
  • Experience with in B2B SaaS or vertical software.
  • Experience with Hub Spot, Tableau, Gong, Clari, Apollo, Clay, Regie, or similar GTM technology.
  • Experience with workflow automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or n8n.
  • Experience building AI-powered enablement or sales automation tools.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, and developing Revenue Operations talent.
Why This Role?
  • You'll report directly to the CEO.
  • You'll own one of the company's most strategic functions.
  • You'll have the opportunity to build—not inherit—the operating system that powers revenue growth.
  • You'll work alongside a leadership team committed to investing in systems, AI, and long-term scale.
  • If you're energized by solving complex operational problems and building systems that make organizations dramatically better, we'd love to talk.
