Contracts Administrator (Construction) Austin, TX (Hybrid) Contract-to-Hire | Flexible Hours | 4 Days In Office, 1 Day Remote
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing industry leader to identify a Contracts Administrator in Austin, Texas. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Legal, and Executive Leadership to manage commercial contracts and support business growth.
This position reports directly to senior leadership and plays a key role in reviewing, administering, and tracking customer contracts across North America. The ideal candidate will have experience interpreting contract terms, managing compliance requirements, coordinating approvals, and supporting the full contract lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Review customer contracts and identify key commercial, operational, insurance, and compliance requirements
- Coordinate internal contract review and approval processes
- Manage contracts throughout the entire lifecycle, including execution, amendments, renewals, compliance tracking, and closeout
- Evaluate contractual obligations and identify potential risks and business considerations
- Serve as a resource for internal teams on contract administration matters
- Support project bonding, certificates of insurance, claims administration, business licensing, and regulatory compliance activities
- Maintain contract records, tracking systems, renewal schedules, and compliance documentation
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, Proposal, and Legal teams to ensure contractual requirements are met
- Assist with process improvements designed to reduce risk and increase operational efficiency
- 3+ years of experience in contract administration, construction contracts, procurement, legal operations, compliance, government contracting, or a related field
- Ability to review and interpret contract language and identify key business and legal provisions
- Experience supporting contract negotiations, approvals, and administration processes
- Knowledge of contractual risk areas including indemnification, insurance requirements, warranties, payment terms, limitations of liability, and subcontractor flow-down provisions
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Legal Studies, or related field preferred
- Commercial construction industry experience
