About Us

At Clear Jet, we're solving logistics problems for the modern company. By introducing technology into antiquated processes and systems, we drive extreme efficiencies that reduce waste and cost while delighting our customers.

As a team, we use GenAI daily to turbo-charge how we work — not as a novelty, but as the default. Our engineers ship with AI-assisted tooling; our analysts query data conversationally; and a growing share of our delivery pipeline is executed by AI agents that pick up well-specified work and run it end to end. Our philosophy is simple:
GenAI is a tool that, used correctly, produces outsized results. The teams embracing this wave are positioning themselves for success in the new world.

About the Role

We're looking for a Project Manager to be the connective tissue of a small, fast, distributed company — the person who turns ambiguous intent into clear, sequenced, delivered work.

This is not a status-meeting job. Because so much of our execution is AI-accelerated, the bottleneck has moved: it is no longer typing speed, it's clarity
. A vague requirement now produces a confidently wrong result in twenty minutes instead of a clarifying question in two days. Specs, acceptance criteria, and decision records are the highest-leverage artifacts in the company — they're what both engineers and agents build from.

You’ll work across engineering, product, data, and collaborate with all internal teams. You’ll be the person who knows what’s actually happening, what’s actually blocked, and what actually shipped — and who communicates all three before anyone has to ask.

What You’ll Own
  • Cross-functional coordination: Run delivery across engineering, ops, data, and customer-facing teams. Surface dependencies early, drive decisions to closure, and elevate with a recommendation rather than a question mark.
  • Communication as a product: Keep everyone appropriately informed with the least possible ceremony — crisp async updates, honest status (including bad news, early), decisions recorded where they can be found later. Silence and surprises are both failures.
  • Risk and blocker management: Identify what's likely to go wrong before it does, and unblock relentlessly. When something slips, the question is never "why didn't we know?"
  • Working the AI-first pipeline: Use AI tools daily to draft specs, summarize threads, triage backlogs, generate first-pass plans and reports, and prepare work for agent execution. You’ll refine and verify output rather than start from a blank page — and you’ll know where the tools shine and where they don’t.
  • Process, sized correctly: Introduce the lightest process that solves a real problem, and delete process that’s stopped earning its keep. We want a PM who reduces overhead, not one who adds it.
  • Continuous improvement: Run honest retrospectives on what shipped late, broke, or missed the mark, and close the loop so the same class of problem doesn’t recur.
What Success Looks Like
  • First 30 days: You know how work flows through the company today, who owns what, and where it stalls. You’ve written and shipped specs for real work.
  • First 60 days: Delivery status is legible to anyone who wants it without a meeting. Intake is consistent enough that work no longer arrives under specified.
  • First 90 days: Predictable delivery on committed work, fewer late surprises, and a measurably shorter path from "someone asked for this" to "it's live and verified."
Who You Are
  • An exceptional communicator. You write clearly and concisely, adapt your register to the audience — engineer, operator, executive, customer — and you'd rather over-communicate a risk than protect a narrative. Strong written communication is the single most important qualification for this role.
  • A natural translator. You can sit with an ops lead and an engineer and leave with one shared understanding of the problem. You're comfortable being the least technical person in one room and the most technical in the next.
  • Genuinely AI-fluent. You already use LLMs in your daily workflow and can talk specifically about what you've automated, what you've sped up, and where the tools burned you. Enthusiasm without hands‑on usage isn't what we're…
