Your role and responsibilities

As an IBM Product Manager, you'll help shape innovative products that solve complex business and technology challenges. Working with cross-functional teams across engineering, design, sales, and marketing, you'll drive product strategy, market analysis, roadmap planning, and go-to-market initiatives that deliver value for clients and accelerate business growth.

In this role you will join IBM Infrastructure's Growth & Innovation team and play a key role in bringing new ideas to market. We're looking for analytical, adaptable, and customer-focused professionals who are passionate about technology, thrive in collaborative environments, and can translate insights into actionable business outcomes.

At IBM, product management sits at the intersection of business, technology, and customer experience. You'll help define product direction, influence strategic decisions, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions that address evolving market needs. This is an opportunity to build products that have meaningful impact while contributing to IBM's ongoing innovation and growth.

Your responsibilities may include:

1) Drive the planning, development, and execution of product initiatives across the product lifecycle.

2) Conduct market research, gather customer insights, and perform competitive analysis to inform product strategy and prioritization.

3) Define product requirements and partner with engineering and design teams to deliver compelling customer experiences.

4) Monitor product performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve adoption, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.

5) Evaluate industry trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities to drive innovation and strategic growth.

6) Collaborate with sales, marketing, and ecosystem partners to support successful product launches and go-to-market execution.

7) Leverage product management frameworks, data-driven insights, and customer feedback to continuously improve products and processes.

Required technical and professional expertise

Minimally, the incumbent will possess:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Interest in product or offering management, digital transformation, or enterprise IT services

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, global teams

Familiarity with hybrid cloud, AI, or infrastructure technologies is a plus

Ability to drive relentlessly towards a business target

Must be a self-starter with an excellent ability to work independently

Preferred technical and professional experience

Pursuing a Master’s Degree in:
Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Information Technology, Data Sciences or related majors.

The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated curiosity and adaptability in learning new technologies as well as have experience with:

Financial modeling, business case development, or pricing strategy

Engaging with enterprise clients or managed services environments

Familiarity with AI, Security and Automation concepts and technologies

Basic understanding of market dynamics, business models, and competitive analysis
