Job DescriptionThe JOLT Operations Product Development (JOLT OPD) team drives technology, business processes, and strategic innovation supporting Applied Materials Global Operations. The rapid growth in semiconductor markets across the world presents unprecedented challenges and opportunities in manufacturing, supply chain and logistics. In this role, you will support digital products that serve as key enablers for Global Operations. Products will utilize the latest advances in software development, optimization, and operations strategy to help guide decision-making at all levels.

- Understand business problems related to operations (manufacturing, supply chain, etc)
- Work with senior product manager(s) to own specific product features and lead user acceptance testing
- Identify and represent user needs by actively defining and aligning product requirements with stakeholder teams
- Help prioritize product backlogs and develop product roadmap
- Establish a constructive working relationship with partner teams to determine progress against project objectives. Under supervision report progress against stated objectives
- Interface with software project manager and development teams as required
- Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent).
- Basic understanding of statistics, data science, and/or AI/ML.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on documenting details
- Comfortable asking questions in an ambiguous environment
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to influence and communicate effectively
- Proficiency in SQL and Python or similar language
- Knowledge of software product development life cycle
- Any relevant project management experience is beneficial
- An internship in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, product management, systems engineering, or quality is a plus but not required.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
