The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will play a crucial role in managing the entire spectrum of warehouse operations and logistics processes at our Manufacturing facility in Austin, TX. This role encompasses the full lifecycle of material management—from the receipt and storage of materials and incoming components to their distribution throughout the plant for production, and ultimately, the shipment of completed equipment to customers.

The successful candidate will ensure that all warehouse activities, internal material flows, and outbound logistics are executed safely, efficiently and accurately, while optimizing material handling processes and leading continuous improvement initiatives improving the overall productivity and success of the facility

• Manage the warehouse and logistics organization, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement where employees feel valued and motivated to contribute to the team's success.

• Develop clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for all team members, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse and logistics processes, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency.
• Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies to identify and eliminate waste, improve workflows, and increase productivity.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive operational excellence.
• Ensure the accurate and efficient handling of materials and products, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize space utilization, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
• Manage the internal flow of materials from the warehouse to various production areas, including raw materials, internal fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, minimizing downtime and production delays.
• Oversee the secure receiving, storage, and shipping of export-controlled products and materials in strict compliance with ITAR/EAR regulations
• Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.
• Ensure that all import/export activities comply with local and international regulations, including accurate and timely documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Demonstrated understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations

Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.

Expert knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling systems, and transportation logistics.
