Position Overview
The Property Compliance Specialist is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day compliance activities of the assigned property. This position works closely with property management and the corporate Compliance team to help ensure the property complies with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Section 8, and other applicable affordable housing program requirements.

The Property Compliance Specialist is responsible for collecting documentation, preparing certification files, tracking compliance deadlines, communicating with applicants and residents, and ensuring files are complete and ready for review. The corporate Compliance team retains responsibility for the final review and approval of all new move-in and recertification files.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Primary areas of responsibility and tasks that may typically be expected include, but are not limited to:

• Coordinate the property’s day-to-day compliance activities and serve as the primary on-site contact for compliance-related matters.
• Prepare and submit new move-in, initial certification, annual recertification, interim recertification, and other applicable files to the corporate Compliance team for review and approval.
