We are a warm, active, and structured home with a stay-at-home mom, a newborn, and two energetic toddlers (ages 3 and
1) who thrive on outdoor play, creative activities, and consistent routines. Our primary focus for this role is dedicated toddler care.
Mom will be on primary duty with the newborn, while our nanny will be the sturdy, proactive manager of the toddlers' day. We view our nanny as a collaborative partner who sets clear, firm, and age-appropriate boundaries. Our ideal environment is tidy, attentive, and high-energy, where open communication and a team-player mindset make every day run smoothly. Key Responsibilities:* Primary Focus — Dedicated Toddler Care:
Act as the sturdy, proactive leader for our 3-year-old and 1-year-old—managing their routines, supporting emotional develonment with healthv boundaries. and guiding all daily transitions.
- Active Engagement & Play:
Actively play, read, draw, do arts & crafts, and keep the toddlers engaged through fun, structured activities. - Outdoor Adventures:
Take the toddlers outside for neighborhood walks and trips to local parks/ playgrounds (both independently and alongside with Mom). - Child Meals & Snacks:
Prepare nutritious, appealing snacks and meals for the toddlers throughout the day. - Tidying & Light Housekeeping:
Maintain clean, safe play environments by picking up toys, tidying play spaces consistently, handling the kids' laundry, and managing light kitchen cleanup (child dinnerware, countertops, high chairs, and helper towers). - Household Teamwork:
Partner with Mom (who will be focused on the newborn) to ensure the overall day runs seamlessly.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
5+ years of professional nanny experience, with proven expertise in energetic toddler dynamics, multi-child routines, and managing close age spreads. - Leadership Style:
Sturdy, proactive, warm, and highly structured with a solid understanding of toddler emotional development and firm boundaries. - Logistics & Traits:
Punctual, detail-oriented, high-energy, non-smoker, with a clean driving record, reliable personal transportation, and stellar professional references. - Certifications & Vetting:
Current Infant/Child CPR & First Aid certified. Must be open to a background check and a paid working trial.
