As a member of the ANDRES Operations team, the Project Manager oversees all aspects of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, managing safety, quality, budget, and schedule. By collaborating closely with Superintendents, trade partners, and clients, the Project Manager ensures projects are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and to specification while fostering a positive work environment and supporting team development. This role contributes to ANDRES’ continued success in Austin and across Texas.
Key Responsibilities:Responsible for overall project quality, budget, and schedule
Ensure successful completion of projects, including scope, schedule, and client satisfaction
Provide a positive work environment that supports employee growth and well-being
Develop and maintain strong Owner/Architect relationships
Safety & ComplianceAdvocate safety as the number one priority on the jobsite and enforce compliance with company and jobsite safety plans, policies, and all safety-related regulations
Ensure field staff follow established processes (e.g., inspections, closing Site Aware issues, taking Drone Deploy photos)
Estimate conceptual, design development, and guaranteed maximum price (GMP)
Coordinate bid process, including solicitation, analysis, and evaluation
Review and assist with owner contract exhibits
Value engineer projects to optimize cost and efficiency
Review and approve subcontractor cost estimates
Negotiate and prepare subcontracts and purchase orders
Scheduling & CoordinationCreate and maintain CPM schedules, reviewing progress weekly with Superintendent
Ensure RFIs and submittals are answered and submitted timely to align with project schedule
Host weekly team meetings to coordinate workflow and project updates
Participate in VDC coordination processes to enhance project planning and collaboration
Coordinate team member assignments with Human Resources and Operations
Create monthly budget snapshots in Procore
Submit monthly job status reports
Process invoices and maintain accurate project financial tracking
Team Development & Knowledge SharingTrain Office Engineers and Project Engineers according to ANDRES Expectation documents and processes
Ensure team collaboration and coordination of workflow
Share best practices and lessons learned with project teams through the ANDRES Forum
Implement Lean Construction practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste
Seek continuous improvement in project execution and processes
Physical Requirements & Work Environment- Must walk the construction site frequently
- Able to operate within paperless networking environment
- Able to physically negotiate the hazards of a construction work site (i.e. uneven surfaces, floor openings, heights, climbing, etc.)
- Office in jobsite trailer with other members of project team
