Join our dynamic team at Bartlett Cocke General Contractors! We are looking for enthusiastic Winter Construction Helpers to assist with various tasks on a commercial construction jobsite this winter season.
This is a temporary position, providing a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with basic construction tasks under supervision.
- Shovel dirt and/or rubble as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean job site by securing tools and equipment.
- Handle materials efficiently through loading, unloading, and storage.
- Engage in strenuous manual labor to support construction projects.
- Prepare surfaces for further construction work.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience or training is a plus, but not required.
This role requires the ability to stand, walk, use hands effectively, and perform physical tasks like lifting up to 100 pounds. You should also possess good vision for safety.
Work EnvironmentYou will work outdoors and may encounter various weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold. Be prepared for humidity, noise, and possibly hazardous conditions on the job site.
