Project Coordinator - Custom Home Construction

Position Overview

We are working with a custom homes builder based in Austin, TX seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to support our Project Managers and field teams in delivering high-end residential projects. This role is critical to maintaining schedule, budget, and documentation accuracy across multiple custom home builds.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of submittals and change order processes, strong budgeting skills, and advanced proficiency in Procore.

• Coordinate project documentation from pre-construction through closeout
• Manage submittals, RFIs, and project correspondence in Procore
• Track budgets, commitments, and cost reports
• Assist with forecasting and budget updates
• Process, review, and track change orders
• Support contract administration and vendor compliance
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely documentation and approvals
• Maintain accurate project records and reporting
• Support schedule tracking and milestone reporting
• Assist with permit and inspection documentation as needed

• 5+ years of construction experience
• Demonstrated experience managing submittals and RFIs
• Proven experience tracking budgets and processing change orders
• Advanced proficiency in Procore (required)
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and workflow
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience working with construction firms
• Familiarity with Austin-area permitting and subcontractor network
• Background supporting Project Managers in a fast-paced environment
• Competitive salary: $85,000 – $95,000 (based on experience)
