Job Summary:
Our Construction Supervisor will oversee the construction of projects and monitor activities y will also manage crews, ensure health and safety codes are observed, and that work is completed to schedule. The Construction Supervisor will develop contacts, liaise with subcontractors and vendors, and perform other administrative tasks while ensuring completion of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
- Monitoring construction processes and providing training and team building sessions as required.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Performing equipment, material, and routine site inspections.
- Scheduling regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff.
- Writing up reports, budgets, project plans, and presenting them to relevant stakeholders.
- Working closely with architects and other professionals.
- Staying up to date with safety codes and advancements in construction.
- Assisting with the recruitment and training of new staff.
- Processing paperwork and traveling to multiple sites as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the Construction industry required
. - Experience in a leadership role.
- Current and valid state driver's license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to focus and keep calm under pressure.
- Ability to keep track of multiple Construction projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction, Business, Management, or engineering preferable.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- CDL Class A driver’s license.
This job operates in a field environment. This role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, lifting in awkward positions, standing, and twisting. Also, working in inclement weather conditions, such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. This position is physically active, with lifting required. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships.
Precise hand-eye coordination. Ability to identify and distinguish colors.
