Site & Civil Construction Project Coordinator

Overview

What To Expect As a Construction Project Coordinator at Tesla, you ll focus on the administrative and coordination aspects of Site & Civil construction projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and helping to facilitate communication across teams. You ll oversee multiple projects from start to finish, supporting the Engineering and Construction teams in driving progress and maintaining workflow.

• Collect, manage, and distribute communications and reporting for the Construction team
• Act as a liaison between Engineering Program Managers, Construction Managers, and Superintendents
• Create and track workflows, including submittals, work approvals, and RFIs
• Set priorities and manage daily
• Track project budgets, forecasts, and schedules. Highlight risks to Project Managers & Superintendents
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation of vendors and contractors
• Review project schedules for accuracy, verify field team updates, and construction metrics
• Create tracking profiles in BIM software and status field construction activities

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Proficient in MS Office, Primavera, and other project management tools
• Working knowledge of construction designs include Civil and Underground infrastructure projects
• Highly organized with the ability to set and prioritize construction tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, handling confidential information
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to last-minute changes
