The HT Group is partnering with an established construction company to hire for a leadership level position in Austin, TX. This role will oversee project execution, operational performance, and team management across a portfolio of complex low-voltage and building technology projects. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in construction operations, specialty systems, or technology infrastructure environments and has experience leading teams, driving profitability, and managing large-scale commercial projects from planning through completion.

Qualifications

• Experience leading operations or project delivery teams within low-voltage construction, security integration, electrical/special systems, building technologies, or structured cabling/data infrastructure environments
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, blueprints, specifications, drawings, and bid/RFP documents.
• Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar commercial projects in fast-paced construction environments
• Experience overseeing project financials, forecasting, estimating, and contract/project negotiations
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to lead teams across both office and field operations
• Demonstrated operational, financial, and customer-facing communication skills

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple concurrent projects from preconstruction through closeout involving structured cabling and fiber infrastructure, security and access control, AV systems, and integrated technology systems
• Lead operations and project delivery to ensure projects meet safety, quality, budget, and scheduling expectations
• Manage and mentor a team of PMs, APMs, and field operations personnel
• Drive scheduling, labor planning, forecasting, and project profitability
• Support estimating, bid reviews, contract negotiations, and operational planning
• Build and maintain strong customer, contractor, and subcontractor relationships
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, field teams, and construction partners to ensure successful project execution
• Help improve operational processes, accountability, and overall division performance
