Job Title :
Electrical Construction Superintendent

Location : ONSITE 6 d/week 10 hours a day; Austin, TX

Duration : 6-month contract to hire

Pay Range : $55/hr-$65/hr

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities and contractors.
• Develop electrical execution plans and accelerated schedules well aligned and coordinated with project stakeholders.
• Ensure frequent communication with all stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project coordination.
• Drive work activities to meet project schedule, remove project constraints, and elevate construction issues to management.
• Perform daily and weekly site progress reports.
• Schedule and support quality control inspections, commissioning activities, and site safety inspections.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the applicable state and OSHA regulations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of electrical, control, and network construction experience.
• Previous experience as a Superintendent on industrial facility construction,
• Brownfield construction, building renovation, or tenant improvement project(s).
• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with tight timeliness and aggressive goals.
• OSHA 30 certification, NFPA 70E certified, current First Aid and CPR Certification, or be willing to be certified.
• Strong problem-solving with the ability to identify solutions and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Through understanding of construction design documents and ability to provide constructability feedback prior to and during construction.
• Through understanding of NFPA 70E and NEC code requirements.
