Safety Professional

Responsibilities

• A minimum of one OSHA 30–certified individual is required for all contracts under $5 million
  .
• A minimum of two OSHA 30–certified individuals is required for contracts over $5 million
  .
• At least one certified individual must also hold First Aid, CPR, and AED certifications.
• On-Site Safety Management
• A full-time Safety Manager is required when:
• The site has 25 or more workers (1 Full-Time Safety).
• The site reaches 40 workers
  , increasing total personnel to 65 (2 Full-Time Safety staff).
• For every additional 50 workers
  , an additional Full-Time Safety professional is required.

• All subcontractors must ensure that at least one competent person and all equipment operators performing surface penetrations of any depth complete the Texas Damage Prevention Certification Training
  .
• Training requires approximately 2.5 hours

• Proof of completion must be submitted as part of the Safety Submittal at least two weeks prior to mobilization
  .
• This training is required only for personnel involved in ground disturbance activities
  .

• All temporary structures must undergo a third-party inspection prior to work commencement.
• Inspection documentation must be presented to the Turner Superintendent before use.
• For structures in place longer than 90 days
  , an updated third-party inspection report is required every 90 days thereafter.
