  • This position is with our National Healthcare Division and requires 100% travel. Project locations may vary. Travel incentives are available.
Role Summary

The General Superintendent manages all aspects of complex projects, overseeing team management, project planning, and execution in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

Responsibilities
  • Lead safety culture and investigations.
  • Manage subcontractors, staff, and project workflow.
  • Develop work plans, coordinate project site activities, and lead meetings.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and communication with stakeholders.
  • Ensure quality standards and project closeout activities.
  • Participate in project pursuit, staffing, and change negotiations.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion within JE Dunn.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple large projects from start to finish.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and develop training content.
  • Deliver leadership messages effectively.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in construction management, engineering, or relevant experience.
  • 12+ years construction, 10+ years supervision.
  • Experience with Lean principles preferred.
Skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, project management, scheduling, and construction technology.
  • Knowledge of trades, self-perform work, and budget management.
