Trillium Construction is hiring for a Site Operations Manager / Civil Project Manager specializing in AI & Heavy Equipment Innovation to work with an industry-leading contractor helping shape the future of construction by combining heavy equipment with cutting-edge AI.

Qualified candidates will serve as the primary liaison between the contractor and their construction partners, ensuring every deployment runs safely, efficiently, and successfully.

• Lead site launches and operational deployments across multiple construction projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partner General Contractors
• Coordinate equipment logistics, scheduling, and deployment planning
• Ensure safe, efficient day-to-day field operations
• Resolve site issues quickly while delivering exceptional customer service
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve future deployments
• Capture operational feedback to help advance AI and robotics technology
• Oversee project closeout, reporting, and post-deployment reviews

• Salary up to $160,000

• 5+ years of leadership experience on large industrial or heavy civil construction projects
• Background as a Project Manager, Project Engineer, Operations Manager, Superintendent, Equipment Manager, or similar leadership role
• Ability to travel throughout the US, approximately 50% of the time
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and client relationship skills
• Experience managing equipment, logistics, or multi-site operations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Robotics, automation, or autonomous equipment experience is a plus—but construction leadership is the priority
