About the Opportunity
My client is delivering large-scale AI and hyperscale data center infrastructure across the United States. Their goal is to build gigawatts of compute capacity at exceptional speed by rethinking traditional construction methods and developing a repeatable, modular approach to data center delivery.
They are seeking a Construction Superintendent to serve as the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for delivering complex, mission-critical projects from groundbreaking through commissioning and final handover.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily site operations across large-scale, mission-critical construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, general contractors, vendors, and union representatives
- Drive project schedules against aggressive construction and delivery milestones
- Enforce site safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Review and interpret structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFIs
- Identify and resolve field issues quickly to prevent delays and protect the construction schedule
- Manage site logistics, material deliveries, equipment coordination, and workforce planning
- Oversee installation quality and ensure work complies with project drawings and specifications
- Support commissioning activities and the transition from construction through final handover
- Provide clear progress reports to internal stakeholders, clients, contractors, and external project partners
- Identify opportunities to improve construction processes and create a more repeatable approach across future projects
- Take ownership of project challenges beyond the traditional boundaries of the role when required

Candidate Requirements- Proven experience leading on-site construction delivery for large-scale, mission-critical infrastructure projects
- Previous experience working as a Construction Superintendent, General Superintendent, MEP Superintendent, or in a comparable field leadership position
- Strong experience managing multiple subcontractors, trade contractors, general contractor relationships, and union representatives simultaneously
- Ability to interpret complex structural, mechanical, and electrical drawings, specifications, and RFIs
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, site logistics, material coordination, and equipment planning
- Working knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards, including OSHA, NFPA, and NEC
- Ability to resolve technical and operational issues within a fast-paced construction environment
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to drive accountability across contractors, trades, and project stakeholders
- Willingness to work in a high-intensity environment with significant ownership and autonomy
