Insight Global is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join one of our clients in Austin, TX. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining job site safety, and communicating project progress with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily construction site operations from project kickoff through completion
  • Ensure all safety, quality, and compliance standards are consistently met
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
  • Monitor project schedules and identify potential delays or risks
  • Communicate project milestones, updates, and challenges to clients and project teams
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications
  • Maintain an organized and efficient construction site environment
  • Review construction drawings and documents to ensure proper execution of work
  • Resolve field issues and collaborate with project managers to keep projects on track
  • Enforce OSHA and company safety standards across all job site activities
Required Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years of experience in commercial construction
  • Experience managing ground-up construction projects
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Knowledge of construction safety regulations and industry standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on-site
  • Ability to maintain project schedules and support timely project delivery
