A growing and highly regarded commercial construction organization is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join its Austin team.
This is an opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility across the full project lifecycle while working alongside experienced Project Managers and Superintendents. - $90,000–$110,000 annual salary
- Work on innovative and technically complex construction projects

- Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the execution of commercial construction projects.
- Manage and monitor cost control, estimating, quantity take-offs, scheduling, procurement and safety activities.
- Perform constructability reviews of design documents and identify potential project issues.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, assist with project estimates, budgets, cost coding, revisions and cash-flow forecasting.
- Analyze and manage owner and subcontractor change orders.
- Review cost reports and assist with forecasting final project costs.
- Participate in monthly project/job reviews.
- Assist with bid analysis and subcontractor procurement.
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Engineer within commercial construction.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field
. - Strong understanding of construction management, estimating, scheduling, procurement, budgeting, costing and safety.
- Experience with construction project management software such as Viewpoint or similar
. - Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera or similar
.
The annual salary for this position is between [$90,000 – $110,000] Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
