Assistant Project Manager

A well-established, family-owned General Contractor in Austin is looking to hire an entry-level Assistant Project Manager to join its growing construction team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent construction graduate or early-career professional looking to develop into a Project Manager within a supportive, hands-on GC environment.

• Support Project Managers with the day-to-day delivery of construction projects
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation
• Maintain project information and documentation within Procore
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects and project teams
• Assist with procurement, scheduling and cost tracking
• Review drawings, specifications and project scopes
• Attend project and subcontractor meetings
• Help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Support closeout, punch-list and turnover activities

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field
• Procore experience or working knowledge required
• Entry-level candidates and recent graduates encouraged to apply

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings
• Motivated to build a long-term career in commercial construction
• Based in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX

Up to $85,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus a competitive benefits package.
