Construction Project Manager Austin, TX

Do you love the construction industry but are tired of working weekends?

This role is for an organized, self reliant project manager in Austin with at least 4 years of experience in commercial construction...who doesn't mind NOT having to work weekends.

My client is Texas-based Owner's Representative and Project Management firm, guiding public and private clients through complex capital projects across civic, commercial, education, multifamily, and infrastructure sectors.

• Serve as Owner's Representative across the full project lifecycle, from planning and procurement through construction and closeout
• Manage budgets, forecasting, and cost control to keep projects financially disciplined
• Track milestones, risk, and performance data, and keep owners informed with clear, transparent reporting
• Advise on project delivery strategy (GMP, Lump Sum, CMAR) and manage contracts accordingly
• Coordinate across architects, engineers, contractors, and permitting agencies
• Identify issues early and drive resolution before they derail a project's schedule or budget

• Real-world construction background: general contracting, project engineering, or owner's rep experience
• Track record managing complex, multimillion-dollar projects from concept to closeout
• Experience reviewing pay apps, making financial projections, building budgets and schedules
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
