Construction Manager

Riverside is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee commercial real estate development projects from pre-construction through completion. As Construction Manager, you will:

• Manage day-to-day coordination of assigned construction projects under the direction of the Director of Facility Operations.
• Coordinate and collaborate with general contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address issues and maintain progress.
• Develop and maintain overall project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Monitor project costs and change management process.
• Work closely with internal teams to align construction activities with development goals.
• Identify schedule conflicts, construction challenges, and project risks; recommend solutions and elevate significant concerns.
• Provide leadership and direction to on-site personnel and subcontractors.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering - preferred but required.
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible construction management experience, preferably with a General Contractor.
• Experience with commercial construction, development projects or tenant improvements.
• Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost-control abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with construction project management and scheduling software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deadlines and commitments.
• Sound judgment and a practical approach to resolving construction issues.
• Clear, professional communication and builds effective working relationships
