FULL TIME MANAGEMENT Austin, TX, US

Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $55,000.00 Annually

About the Role:

The Construction Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of outside plant construction projects within the telecommunications sector. This position is responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while adhering to safety and quality standards. The manager will coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and local authorities, to facilitate smooth project operations.

Additionally, the Construction Manager will be tasked with identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success. Ultimately, this role is crucial in enhancing the infrastructure that supports telecommunications services, thereby contributing to improved connectivity for communities and businesses.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing construction projects, particularly in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and OSP construction practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with fiber optic installation and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and permitting processes related to telecommunications construction.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily operations of OSP construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce safety regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including budgets, schedules, and reports.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the construction process.
