Legacy Executive Search is partnering with a well-established, Texas-based electrical construction contractor to hire several Assistant Project Managers for a long-term industrial mega project near Austin.

You'll join an experienced project leadership team supporting one of the largest and most complex industrial construction programs in the country, working alongside seasoned Project teams while developing the commercial, technical, and leadership skills needed to accelerate your career in Construction.
What You'll Be DoingAs an Assistant Project Manager, you'll help drive successful project execution by supporting both the office and field teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting project planning, scheduling, and execution
- Tracking project costs and forecasting progress
- Managing RFIs, submittals, and technical documentation
- Coordinating material procurement and vendor communication
- Assisting with change management and project controls
- Supporting construction planning and look-ahead schedules
- Coordinating with engineering, field leadership, clients, and subcontractors
- Preparing reports and maintaining project documentation
- Helping ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
You’ll own meaningful portions of the project while receiving mentorship from experienced project leaders.
What We're Looking ForRequired:
Ideal candidates will have experience in:
- Electrical construction
- Mission critical or data center projects
- Power generation or utility projects
- Heavy commercial or EPC environments
Preferred qualifications include:
- 3–6 years of construction project experience
- Experience supporting project controls, scheduling, or cost management
- Exposure to RFIs, submittals, procurement, and change management
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
