Jamail & Smith is looking for a Regional Manager to lead our Austin Region and continue growing our presence throughout Central Texas. This opportunity could be a great fit for a Senior Project Manager who is ready to take the next step into regional leadership

As Regional Manager, you'll oversee the people, projects, clients, and overall performance of the Austin Region. You'll lead Project Managers, Superintendents, and support staff while working closely with executive leadership and our corporate teams. We're looking for someone who understands construction operations, knows how to build strong teams and client relationships, and wants the opportunity to have a direct impact on the growth of a region.

• Lead the overall operations, performance, and profitability of the Austin Region.
• Manage and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, and regional team members.
• Oversee projects to ensure they meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety expectations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients throughout Central Texas.
• Partner with executive leadership to establish regional goals, budgets, forecasts, and growth strategies.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams throughout preconstruction, construction, and closeout.
• Monitor project financial performance and identify potential risks before they impact the region.
• Grow and strengthen relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
• Ensure consistent use of company processes, procedures, and Procore across regional projects.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, mentoring, and development of regional employees.
• Identify opportunities for new work and help expand Jamail & Smith's presence throughout the Austin market.
• Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional client service.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years of commercial construction experience
  , with progressive project or operational responsibility.
• Experience as a Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, Regional Manager, or similar construction leadership role, required.
• Experience managing and developing construction teams.
• Job Order Contracting (JOC) experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with K-12, higher education, government, municipal, or other public-sector construction, required.
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, estimating, subcontractor management, and construction operations.
• Proven ability to build strong client and industry relationships.
• Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Existing relationships within the Austin/Central Texas construction community are a plus!
