Role Summary

We’re looking for a Creative Director who combines world‑class creative vision with hands‑on execution. You will own our entire visual identity — packaging, social content, photography, advertising, retail displays, and brand campaigns. This role shapes the future of the brand: how it looks, feels, sounds, behaves, and shows up across every consumer and retail touchpoint. You will partner directly with the Head of Brand on strategy and creative direction, while leading design execution from concept to final asset delivery.

You must be strategic enough to evolve the brand and tactical enough to design, edit, art‑direct, and produce assets yourself.

Key Responsibilities Brand Identity & Creative Leadership
  • Own and evolve our visual identity, design systems, and creative guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency across packaging, digital, retail, social, and physical experiences.
  • Maintain quality control across all creative output—acting as the brand guardian.
Packaging & Compliance
  • Lead packaging systems, version control, flavor extensions, and sub‑line architecture.
  • Manage packaging updates across retail, club, international, multi‑packs, and seasonal items.
  • Ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, Kosher, Organic, and multilingual formatting requirements.
  • Create scalable templates for future innovation and rapid expansion.
Content Creation & Production
  • Own creative direction for photo/video campaigns, product shoots, lifestyle shoots, and brand storytelling content.
  • Design or art‑direct social graphics, reels, motion concepts, ads, landing page assets, and email creative.
  • Manage with internal designers, agencies, creators, editors, and production partners.
  • Build content library and asset management system.
Social Media Creative Leadership
  • Own creative direction for Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, and Linked In.
  • Ensure content stays visually consistent, trend‑aware, and brand‑extending.
  • Evaluate performance data + Digital team to improve creative output.
Campaigns & Advertising
  • Concept and deliver omnichannel campaigns: social, paid media, retail, OOH, and brand films.
  • Partner with Digital team to align creative with conversion insights and performance learnings.
  • Review influencer content, retail media creative, brand collabs, and co‑branded assets to ensure brand alignment.
Retail & Experiential Creative
  • Develop creative for trade shows, sampling activations, Costco/Sam’s Club displays, and in‑store merchandising.
  • Bring the brand to life in physical spaces with bold, memorable experiential design.
Team Building & Collaboration
  • Mentor designers, creators, and freelancers as the creative function grows.
  • Partner with Sales, Digital, Product Development, to understand objectives and creative requirements.
  • Maintain strong collaboration with the Brand Marketing Manager on timelines, briefs, and deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • 5+ years in creative or design leadership roles within high‑growth CPG food/beverage.
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates brand identity, packaging design, digital content, advertising, and retail merchandising.
  • Strong hands‑on skills: design, layout, typography, visual direction, production, QC.
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite + motion content familiarity.
  • Ability to move between high‑level conceptual thinking and detailed execution.
  • Highly collaborative, fast‑moving, and comfortable in a founder‑led environment.
