Canales & Co. is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to help our client’s brands come to life visually. We have multiple exciting projects on the horizon. You’ll be responsible for creating a variety of design projects ranging from branding, packaging, illustration, environmental and digital design assets for our clients and our studio.

We will look to you to combine creativity, brand visual language, functionality, and technology to produce eye-catching and informative content. This role works with a close knit team in person, so communication skills are key, and all candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of design software programs, as well as adept drawing and illustration skills.

• Work in the office in Austin, TX

• 5+ years of experience in digital design
• A strong attention to detail
• Excellent understanding of color, typography, and layout design
• The ability to swiftly switch various design styles
• Affinity with emerging technology, producing interactive prototypes, experiments and researching new possibilities together with the team
• A pro in working in Figma, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• The ability to brief, review, and inspire others in the studio
• An excellent portfolio of design projects showcasing your craftsmanship and experience with illustration and typography

• Agency or studio experience
• Experience with Motion Design for User Interfaces
• Photography Experience
• Working together with the team to elevate digital experiences for the brands we work for.
• Communicate, discuss and brainstorm proactively with other team members.
• Create or translate creative concepts to outstanding pixel-perfect designs.
