Overview
The Musicians Woodshed in Lake Travis is seeking a part-time, in-person music instructor. Teachers set availability within open hours; consistency is appreciated by students and staff, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. This position is IN PERSON at our school.
Responsibilities- Teach part-time in person at The Musicians Woodshed, Lake Travis location.
- Design customized lesson plans for each student based on their tastes, skill level, and personal goals.
- Focus on punctuality, reliability, and maintaining professional conduct; pass routine background checks as required.
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
- Ability to pass a routine background check and have reliable transportation.
- Pay: $28-$32/hour, commensurate with experience.

Ensemble Schools is a partnership of community-driven music & dance schools that maintain individual identities but share resources to ensure mutual success. This posting is for The Musicians Woodshed with locations in Lake Travis and North Parmer, TX. Instructors design customized lesson plans for each student on their schedule, focusing on music tastes, skill set, and personal goals to optimize a music-learning experience.
