October Creative is a food cinematography and photography studio located in Austin, Texas.
Role DescriptionCome and help create high quality, unique food-centric video and photo content for bloggers and brands that match their specific aesthetic preferences. We are needing a disciplined and artistic individual who can meet any new tasks with an entrepreneurial spirit.
You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, plating, and cleaning up multiple unique recipes each day, collaborating with a cinematographer to maintain a creative and efficient studio space. We need a team member who can manage a kitchen efficiently, complete recipes successfully, and pursue creativity and beauty as they help tell the story of each recipe.
As the business grows we need this role to adapt to meet the changing needs of our clients and internal structures of the company. To be successful in this position, you will need to be adaptable, creative, and receptive to direction. You will need to have strong communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills. You should be punctual, perceptive, and detail-oriented with solid time management and multitasking abilities.
You will show your hands and forearms as you prepare and style recipes on screen, thus you will need to maintain the condition of your hands. Minimal to no tattoos preferred, all tattoos on hands and arms must be coverable with makeup.
